Business Development Officer Nordics
We are looking for a pro-active, independent business development officer Nordics. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities in the Nordic region for Dutch businesses (companies and research institutes) and for delivering a set target of new business leads in the four Nordic countries.

The Trade & Economy Team of the Netherlands Embassies in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo and Stockholm is looking for a Pioneer in Dutch Business Development in the Nordics, to be based in Göteborg.
We are looking for a pro-active, independent business development officer Nordics. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities in the Nordic region for Dutch businesses (companies and research institutes) and for delivering a set target of new business leads in the four Nordic countries. You will be expected to manage a business network and cooperate with governmental partners in the four countries and The Netherlands. Depending on your experience you will manage projects independently or support the RBD. You will report to the Copenhagen-based Regional Business Developer (RBD) and work as part of the team of economic officers in the Dutch Embassies in the Nordic Baltic region.
Our new business development officer is a professional with a background in business, economics or engineering and has several years of experience in project management or business development (i.e. not sales) in a commercial environment. Fluency in English and one of the Nordic languages is a must; proficiency in Dutch and affinity with the Netherlands are key assets. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a target-driven governmental environment, is a team-player, liaises easily with contacts of all ranks and has a flexible work attitude/approach as you will need to travel within Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and The Netherlands.
